Alberta Bobsleigh was founded on January 21, 1983. The Association currently operates its winter program out of Whistler due to the closure of the Calgary track. Athletes have taken part in International Development and World Cup races as well as local and provincial races.

Mission: Alberta Bobsleigh Association’s mission is to INSPIRE Passion and DEVELOP Champions on and off the ice.

Vision: To establish Alberta as a leading centre for bobsleigh in Canada and throughout the World.
