Steve M. has over 25 years of experience in program and project management, primarily in the engineering and environmental services sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager for Markets at AESO since April 2017, Steve is responsible for the implementation of new ISO markets, such as the Restructured Energy Market in Alberta. Previously, at Stantec from May 2009 to June 2016, Steve led the Environmental Services business center, managing up to 325 team members and a multi-million dollar operation, while driving substantial revenue growth and enhancing safety culture. Earlier roles include Group Leader at Jacques Whitford AXYS, where Steve supported project management training, and Program Manager at QC Data, overseeing extensive engineering projects and resource management. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Calgary and completed continuing education in Project Management at Mount Royal University in 2017.
