Jun Yang

Jun Yang is a Manager of the Budget Information System at Alberta Treasury Board and Finance, where they lead testing and refinement for economic models and oversee processing for personal income tax data. Previously, Jun worked as a Senior Economist at Alberta Transportation, supervising transportation economic analysis projects and developing economic models. They also have experience as a Data Analyst for Alberta Health, where they conducted statistical analyses on long-term care data, and as an Analyst-Business Insights Specialist at Bank West. Jun holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Alberta, where they also served as a Research Assistant and Sessional Instructor.
