Marc Baxter

Marc Baxter serves as the Environment and Sustainability Lead in the Electricity Sustainability and Innovation Branch of the Government of Alberta, focusing on innovative policy solutions to advance the province's environmental and emissions goals for the electricity system. Prior to this role, Marc held positions as a Senior Policy Analyst and Program Lead, where responsibilities included advising on policy initiatives and managing renewable energy programs. Marc's career also includes experience as a Project Analyst and Administrative Assistant, enhancing skills in program delivery, data analysis, and policy development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Alberta, along with a Management and Supervision Professional Development Certificate from MacEwan University.
