Steve Stringfellow

Assistant Deputy Minister, Labour Relations Policy & Programs

Steve Stringfellow is currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister for Labour Relations Policy & Programs. They have an extensive background in public service, having worked as a Paramedic with the British Columbia Ambulance Service from 2006 to 2015 and as a National Representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees between 2010 and 2015. They held senior roles in the Government of Alberta, including Senior Manager of Negotiations & Assurances and Executive Director of Strategic Negotiations Lead. Steve has also fulfilled various Chief of Staff positions across multiple ministries in Alberta between 2015 and 2017. They are presently pursuing a degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
