John Ortiz

John Ortiz has extensive experience in retail operations, holding leadership positions at notable companies within the industry. Currently serving as GVP of Corporate Retail Operations at Albertsons Companies since January 2017, John Ortiz also held the role of Corp. Vice President of Retail Operations at Albertsons/Safeway starting in March 2013. Prior to these positions, John Ortiz worked as a District Manager at Albertsons/Safeway, a Regional Coordinator for Front End Retail Operations at Fred Meyer, and served as Owner of John Ortiz & Associates, LLC. John Ortiz began his career at Albertsons in 1988, progressing to the role of Area Vice President before transitioning to SuperValu as Area Vice President. John Ortiz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has additional educational backgrounds from the University of Southern California and Boise State University.
