Matt Freeman

Matt Freeman is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate development and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy at Albertsons Companies since April 2020, Matt Freeman leads strategic transactions and partnerships, overseeing critical areas such as retail media networks, AI, and health and wellness. Prior to this role, Matt Freeman founded Payette Capital, where a search fund was established for acquiring and growing small businesses. Matt Freeman's career also includes leadership positions at Micron Technology, where significant achievements in M&A, joint ventures, and corporate growth initiatives were realized, and at onsemi, where corporate strategy was developed. Matt Freeman holds an MBA in International Finance and Trade from Thunderbird School of Global Management, along with a BBA in Business Administration and a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Utah.
