Nancy Al Kayal, founder of Albusminds, is a licensed psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, children, and couples across diverse cultural backgrounds. Her work is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep belief that mental health care should be accessible, responsive, and inclusive.
After relocating to Canada, Nancy saw firsthand the growing gap between the urgent need for psychological services and the barriers many face — from long wait times to language limitations and rigid systems. She recognized that timely, culturally attuned care isn’t just important — it’s essential.
This vision led to the creation of Albusminds: a space where mental health services are client-centered, accessible, and tailored to meet the needs of a diverse community.
