Alex Walker

Alex joined Alcentra in July 2013 as a member of the European Credit team and also acts as the Head of Investment Execution and Fund Formation. Alex is responsible for the structuring and execution of Alcentra’s new money direct lending transactions and uses his restructuring and business turnaround experience in relation to direct lending investments in financial distress. Alex may also sit on the board of Alcentra’s investee companies and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Anesco Limited.

Alex has previously worked at Linklaters LLP, BP PLC and Barclays Capital gaining experience of large cap M&A, leveraged buy-outs and debt restructuring.

Alex has an L.L.B in law from Leicester University and is a graduate of Nottingham Law School.
