Chikodi Chima has a wealth of work experience in public relations and communications. From 2010 to 2021, Chima has held various roles in the industry. In 2010, Chima began as a Principal at Moonshot, where they were responsible for media relations, research and development of pitch lists, strategic messaging, and activating narratives. In 2013, Chima became a Public Relations and Communications Mentor at 500 Startups. In 2014, they became a Public Relations Mentor at Alchemist Accelerator. In 2017, Chima took on a Community Events role at Atrium, where they planned and orchestrated the launch event, attended by more than 250 investors, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners. In 2018, Chima took on a Communications role at Compound, where they planned and orchestrated a satellite conference during San Francisco Blockchain Week. In 2019, Chima became a Senior Communications Manager at Adobe, where they supported the Adobe Enterprise Communications team. In 2020, Chima became a Senior Public Relations and Events Manager at Torch, as well as a Mentor for Public Relations at First Round Fast Track. Chima's most recent role was as a Fellow at On Deck in 2021.
Chikodi Chima attended Columbia University from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies/Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies. In 2008, Chikodi Chima continued their studies at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, graduating with a Master's degree in Journalism, Digital Media in 2009.
