Deepak Sharma's education history began with their completion of high school at Government Model High School Sec16 Chandigarh in 1986. Deepak then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University, graduating in 1992. Following this, they enrolled at the National University of Singapore and obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Fuel Cells between 1997 and 1999. Continuing their education, Deepak completed an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2003.
