Candice Ford is an experienced professional in the fields of strategy, innovation, and food science. Currently serving as a Consultante stratégie & innovation in the food industry at Alcimed since February 2024, Candice supports research and development as well as strategic decision-makers across the agri-food value chain. Prior to this role, Candice was a Doctoral Researcher at Croda from September 2018 to July 2023, managing a complex PhD research project funded by the University of Nottingham and Croda International, while gaining hands-on experience in experimental design for cosmetic product development. Additional experiences include training in new food product development at Campden BRI, consulting on home oxygen safety at BPR Medical, and internships in marketing with PepsiCo, biochemistry research with Amgen, and sales at Decathlon. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Nottingham, an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, and a Baccalauréat in Scientific disciplines from Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel.
