Adam Smith

Adam Smith has extensive experience in the aluminum industry, currently serving as Vice President of Aluminum Sales, Trading, and Risk Management at Alcoa since April 2005. Throughout tenure at Alcoa, Adam has held multiple leadership positions, including Vice President of Global Physical Trading and Risk Management, and Director of both Physical Trading and Primary Aluminum Sales and Metal Risk Management. Prior to joining Alcoa, Adam worked at Denso as an Advanced Production Control Specialist from January 2003 to April 2005 and served as Logistics Manager at Bike Athletic Company from December 2000 to January 2003. Adam holds an MBA in Business from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
