Andrew Obal

Andrew Obal is a seasoned professional in safety and environmental management with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Global Safety Program Manager at Alcoa since April 2012, Andrew has held various leadership roles, including Regional Safety Manager for Australia and Health and Safety Manager for Alumina. Prior experience includes the position of EHS Manager and Environment Superintendent at Simcoa Operations Pty Ltd from January 2000 to April 2012. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Safety, Health & Environment from UNSW, a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, and a Diploma of Business in Front Line Management from South Regional TAFE.
