Jonathan Miller has extensive experience in industrial engineering, currently serving as a Technical Advisor at Alcoa since June 2014, focusing on Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma, as well as Simio Modeling for Planning and Scheduling. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked as a Continuous Improvement Consultant from June 2012 to June 2014, promoting Lean principles and culture change while utilizing IT tools for enhancement. As a Research Assistant at the IRISS Research Chair from January 2011 to June 2014, Jonathan contributed to improving outpatient clinic operations through discrete-event simulation and the development of measurement tools and a workload assessment tool for nursing staff. Additionally, Jonathan briefly held the position of Lean Facilitator at Rio Tinto Alcan in 2011, where support was provided for Lean deployment, problem-solving, and training initiatives. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, alongside a Double DEC in Music and Science from Cégep de Sainte-Foy.
