Larry Mickelson

Larry Mickelson is an experienced electrochemist with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Larry's career began with a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, followed by a Master's and a PhD in the same field. Professional experience includes roles at Alcoa, where Larry advanced from Materials Engineer Intern to Staff Electrochemist and currently serves as Sr Staff Electrochemist. Previous positions include Graduate Research Associate at Arizona State University, focusing on lithium-ion battery degradation mechanisms and electroxidation processes, and Undergraduate Research Assistant, where contributions included in situ surface stress experiments on platinum surfaces.
