Maxime Lanctôt

Maxime Lanctôt currently holds the position of Vice President of Energy for North America at Alcoa, a role assumed in September 2025. Prior to this, Maxime served as General Manager of Energy Development Canada at Rio Tinto from March 2022 to September 2025. Experience also includes a tenure as Senior Director of Origination at Kruger Energy from 2018 to March 2022 and Vice President of Commercial Development for North America at Brookfield Renewable from 2014 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing client relationships and developing innovative renewable energy products. Earlier roles include Director of Business Development and Strategy at Hydro Québec (2009-2014), Assistant Vice President at PwC (2008-2009), and Director of Business Development at Gaz Métro (2001-2008). Maxime Lanctôt holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Actuarial Science from Université de Montréal.
