Molly Beerman is Senior Vice President and Controller for Alcoa Corporation, responsible for the Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Country Controllership teams which serve the financial needs of Alcoa’s operations.
Molly is a seasoned financial executive having worked in strategic positions that require a combination of technical accounting, process improvement and technology expertise. Prior to the separation of Alcoa Inc. into two companies, Molly was Director, Global Shared Services Strategy and Solutions. She also served as Director, Global Procurement Center of Excellence and earlier was Manager, North America Financial Accounting Services.
Molly left Alcoa Inc. in 2012 to become Vice President, Finance and Administration for The Pittsburgh Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to improve the quality of life in the Pittsburgh region by evaluating and addressing community issues. In 2015, she returned to Alcoa Inc. in a consulting role to the Finance Department related to the separation transaction. Molly joined Alcoa Corporation in 2016 as Vice President and Controller.
Earlier in her career, she served in financial management positions at Carnegie Mellon University, PNC Bank and the Pittsburgh office of Deloitte.
Molly obtained a BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She previously served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the African American Cultural Center, which owns the August Wilson venue in Pittsburgh for the performing arts.
