Peter Michael Smith

Peter Michael Smith has extensive experience in the aluminum industry, working at Alcoa since February 1987 in various roles, including Senior Control Attendant and Shift Trainer, where responsibilities included training personnel, monitoring operations, and managing safety protocols. Notably, Peter served as Commissioning Team Leader for a new filtration building at the Pinjarra site, focusing on operator training and collaboration with contractors. Previously, Peter worked as a Technical Consultant and Shift Supervisor at Ma'aden Aluminium Company, where responsibilities included training refinery technicians and developing standard work instructions. Peter holds a Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology from Challenger Tafe Fremantle and completed high school education at St Brendans College.
