André Hacker is a Principal Software Engineer at Alcon since March 2023, focusing on medical device software within R&D for corneal refractive applications. Prior to this role, André served as Senior Engineering Manager and Head of R&D at Exasol from April 2014 to February 2023, while also contributing as a Software Developer in the Compiler & Engine Team. André's earlier experience includes a position as a Student Research Assistant at TU Berlin, working on the Stratosphere project, and serving as CTO and co-founder of SYNCING.NET Technologies GmbH, where leadership was provided to a development and QA team, achieving significant customer growth.
