Avanthi Govender Bester

Avanthi Govender Bester is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Alcon, a position held since 2021. Previously, Avanthi served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Arrow Pharma SA from 2006 to 2010 and held various roles in regulatory affairs at Becton Dickinson and BD between 2010 and 2013. Avanthi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Witwatersrand (1994-1997) and a Master’s Degree in Health Economics from UPF Barcelona School of Management (2014-2016).
