Barbara Barr

Barbara Barr has extensive experience in compliance and monitoring roles within the healthcare industry, currently serving as Associate Director of U.S. Monitoring at Alcon since May 2015. In this position, Barbara supports the development and execution of risk-based strategies. Previously, Barbara managed the Aggregate Spend team at Alcon, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations. Prior to Alcon, Barbara worked at Stryker in various capacities, including Business Analyst for Global Compliance Systems and Senior Compliance Representative, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with ethical codes and state regulations. Early career roles include Judicial Assistant to a U.S. District Judge and Clerk-in-Charge for the United States Probation & Pretrial Services. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Western Michigan University and a Paralegal certificate from Davenport University.
