Behzad Hashemi

Behzad Hashemi is currently the Director of R&D at Alcon, where they lead the development of the next generation surgical cassette, enhancing fluid management during ocular surgeries. With a background that includes roles as a Test Engineer at Rain Bird and various engineering positions at ITT and Alcon, Behzad combines extensive technical expertise with leadership in product development. They hold an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and a B.Sc. from Azad University of Tehran.
