Celeste Aguado

Celeste Aguado is a seasoned professional in the field of process chemistry and engineering, holding the title of Director of Process Chemistry & Engineering at Alcon, a Novartis company, since August 2013. With a career that began in 1981, Aguado has also served as Director of Process Chemistry Development and Director of Process Transfer at CIBA Vision/Novartis. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing operations, overseeing chemical engineering and materials management, developing and transferring processes from research and development to manufacturing, and expanding roles into colored lens projects. Aguado's educational background includes an MBA in Technology Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and degrees in Chemistry and Genetics from The University of Georgia.
