Eric Byrnes

Eric Byrnes has extensive experience in payer account management and market access within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Payer Account and Field Access Management at Alcon since September 2021, Eric leads regional and field access teams while overseeing key national accounts. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Sr. National Account Executive at Novo Nordisk, where responsibilities included developing payer relationships and managing market access strategies for multiple therapeutic areas. Eric's previous roles include National Account Director at Merz North America and a long tenure at Alcon Laboratories, where Eric contributed to strategic account management and sales training. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Denver.
