Finbar O'Neill is a quality leader with over 20 years of experience in the Bio/Pharma industry, specializing in aseptically produced sterile products, drug/device combinations, and biologics throughout the product development lifecycle. O'Neill served as Vice President, Global Quality at Aerie Pharmaceuticals from 2021 to 2023 and held various leadership roles at Allergan Pharmaceuticals, including Director of QA at a major manufacturing site and Director of Worldwide Quality Assurance for Biologics. Currently, O'Neill is the Head of R&D Quality Pharmaceuticals at Alcon. O'Neill is an EU Qualified Person and certified six sigma green belt, with extensive experience in global regulatory agency inspections and organizational change management. Finbar holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
