Frank Chang

Frank Chang has extensive experience in research and development within the field of polymer science. Currently serving as Director of R&D Polymers at Alcon, a Novartis company since July 1998, Frank Chang has progressed through various roles, including Research Fellow, Senior Principal Scientist, and Principal Scientist, focusing on the development of advanced materials for contact lenses. Prior to this, Frank Chang worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Eichrom Technologies LLC, where responsibilities included the development of dual functional ion exchange resins for hydrometalogy and nuclear waste treatment. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Polymer Synthesis and Modification from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an MS in Polymer Synthesis from Western Carolina University, and a B.Ed. in Chemistry from National Changhua University.
