Greg Diestel is an experienced packaging engineer with extensive expertise in project management of various packaging equipment, including Blister, Pouch, Shrink Packaging Equipment, Labelers, and a 6-Axis Robotic Product Loader. Since May 1994, Greg has held the position of Senior Engineer I at Alcon Research, Ltd., as well as roles at ALCON SURGICAL and Alcon Laboratories, Inc., where responsibilities have included authoring, executing, and closing over 80 validation protocols. In addition to these positions, Greg has served as a Subject Matter Expert at GD Package Consulting since December 2017. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University, as well as a qualification in Packaging from Randallstown Senior High School.
