James Comper

James Comper is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Regulatory Affairs Director for Alcon since September 2012, James oversees regulatory compliance for the UK and Ireland portfolio as well as the EMEA region. Prior roles at Alcon include Head of Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Manager for the UK and Ireland, where responsibilities encompassed compiling and submitting Clinical Trial Applications, Variations, Renewals, and maintaining ongoing compliance with local and EU regulations. James's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Regulatory Executive at Pfizer and at Fort Dodge Animal Health as Assistant Biological Registration Manager. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Surrey.
