Joella Kittrell, MPH, MCRP, CCRP, is an experienced Director of Clinical Trial Operations at Alcon, where they manage clinical operations within the pharmaceutical sector. With a robust history in both commercial and government-sponsored research, Joella has held various leadership roles, including Senior Clinical Manager at Aerie Pharmaceuticals and Senior Project Manager at Rho. Joella's expertise encompasses phases 1-4 of clinical research, from startup to closeout, combining clinical oversight with line management of multiple employees. Educated at Humboldt State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Joella holds degrees in Business Administration and a dual master’s in Public Health and City & Regional Planning. Previously, Joella served as an Americorps VISTA Volunteer and a Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
