John Park is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in optics and photonics. Currently serving as an Associate Director at Alcon since May 2020, John has a strong background in product development and engineering management, having previously held roles such as Application Engineering Manager at MKS Instruments and New Product Development Manager at Newport Corporation. John’s expertise includes leading cross-functional teams, project planning, product management, and budget oversight, particularly in the development of spectroscopy products. Earlier in the career, John was a Senior Optical Scientist at General Monitors and Iteris, Inc. John holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
