Marc Raman

Marc Raman is an accomplished leader in the fields of AI, digital technology, and data analytics, currently serving as the Global Head of AI, Digital and Technology at Alcon. Previously, Marc held significant positions at Merck, including Global Head of Data, Analytics & Technology, and Head of IT & CIO for the US Market and Digital and Analytics. Additional experience at MSD included similar roles overseeing IT and digital strategies for Human Health in Europe and Emerging Markets. Early career roles at Merck involved executive leadership in IT strategy and global program delivery, as well as overseeing global clinical development and IT project management. Marc's leadership credentials are supported by an Executive Leadership program at Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
