Mo Welaya is an experienced finance executive currently serving as the CFO of US Vision Care and Head of Global FP&A at Alcon since March 2018. In this role, responsibility includes leading the global FP&A team and overseeing enterprise-wide financial planning and management reporting. Previously, Mo Welaya was the Head of Finance for International Surgical, partnering with the President to drive financial strategy across 100 countries. Prior experience includes serving as CFO for Switzerland and Austria at Novartis from July 2012 to February 2018, and participation in the Finance Development Program at Novartis AG. Mo Welaya began a career at Intel Corporation, holding various financial analyst positions from February 2006 to June 2012. Academic qualifications include a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Alexandria University.
