Nelson Oliver

Nelson Oliver is a seasoned professional in the field of optometry and medical affairs, currently serving as the Global Training Director for Surgical Diagnostics at Alcon since April 2014. With a robust career that began as an Optometrist at Gavin Smyth & Associates from 1994 to 1997, Nelson progressed to roles at SpecialEyes Optical and Vista Eyes, ultimately becoming Senior Optometrist and Clinical team manager. In addition to various clinical roles, extensive experience includes positions as Clinical Applications Consultant and Medical Affairs Advisor at Alcon. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Optometry from the Queensland University of Technology and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics from the University of Melbourne.
