Pushkar Varde

Pushkar Varde, Ph.D., is a Senior Process Engineer at Alcon with a strong background in medical device engineering. They have previously held roles as a Research Scientist at ViCapsys Inc. and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University, where they focused on biomaterials and tissue engineering. Pushkar holds a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from Syracuse University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. With expertise in polymer science, imaging techniques, and process automation, they have contributed to advancements in contact lens device development and pre-clinical research initiatives.
