Qiyi Chen, Ph.D., is a seasoned polymer scientist with a robust academic and professional background. Qiyi earned a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Sichuan University, followed by a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. During the Master's program, Qiyi specialized in the fabrication of superhydrophobic and superolephobic films using innovative spray coating techniques. Qiyi obtained a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, accumulating five years of hands-on experience in polymer 3D printing and coating. Subsequently, Qiyi worked as a Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both the University of Pennsylvania and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
