Robert Kamffer

Robert Kamffer is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, securities, and compliance. Currently serving as Director and Senior Legal Counsel at Alcon since October 2016, Robert also functions as Head of Legal & Compliance for Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Previous roles include Country Head of Legal & Compliance and Legal Counsel at Novartis from April 2012 to September 2016, Partner at Venter Kamffer Attorneys from November 2010 to March 2012, Associate Attorney at Brooks & Luyt Inc from July 2007 to October 2010, and Candidate Attorney at Norton-Lambrianos Group from January 2003 to June 2007. Robert holds an LL.B. from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Law. Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2008.
