Roy Doolin

Roy Doolin is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process development, automation, and integration within the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Director of Pilot Line & Integration at Alcon since October 2015, Doolin leads teams focused on the development of innovative intraocular implantable devices for conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma. Past roles include Associate Director at Alcon where Doolin launched the AutonoMe IOL Delivery Device and managed automation improvements, and Manager at St. Jude Medical where responsibilities included overseeing production processes for Class III implantable medical devices. Doolin's career spans various engineering positions, including management roles at Stryker Communications, Dallas Woodcraft, and other notable companies, showcasing a proven track record in team leadership and successful project execution. Roy Doolin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Southeastern Louisiana University.
