Ryan Gilmore

Ryan Gilmore is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Test Engineering Manager at Alcon since October 2020, where responsibilities include supporting the development of phaco and vitreoretinal surgical products, designing assembly and testing processes, and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful product launches. Prior roles include Engineering Writer at ProtoType Industries, where technical documentation for aerospace systems was created, and Process Engineering Manager at Atlantis Technologies, overseeing a team in the design and installation of desalination equipment. Additional experience includes materials development at Atlantis Technologies and research roles at CBRITE Inc., UCLA Thin Films and Nanotechnology Lab, and the INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials. Ryan Gilmore holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from UCLA, achieved in 2015.
