Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller is a seasoned engineer with a diverse background in medical device design and electromechanical systems. Currently serving as a Senior Medical Device Design Engineer II at Alcon since March 2022, Ryan specializes in Class II and Class III medical devices, including implantable lenses and intraocular lens delivery systems. Previously, Ryan contributed expertise at The Aerospace Corporation, holding various positions within the Electromechanical Control Department from April 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included mission assurance for launch vehicle certification efforts. Earlier experience includes product design and prototyping at ARM Enterprises, along with significant research roles at the University of Southern California and consulting for AgileStor Inc. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of Southern California and Biola University, respectively.
