Samir Tank

Samir Tank is a seasoned professional in SAP manufacturing and quality, currently serving as Senior Director at Alcon since March 2022 and as Global Core ERP Manufacturing IT Head at ALCON LLC since April 2019. Previously, Tank held the position of Director Global IT (ERP) SAP at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation from February 2015 to April 2019, where involvement included leading the US Manufacturing and Technical Operations segment of the Global IRIS SAP Program. Tank also directed IT functions at Novartis Consumer Health and contributed to ERPs for various initiatives, including joint venture integration and supply chain finance projects. Early career experience encompasses roles at IBM Global Business Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in ERP implementation and finance functions. Tank holds an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from South Gujarat University.
