Shaimaa has previously held roles at the Egyptian Drug Authority, overseeing the approval of pharmaceutical and medical products, and has been actively involved in regulatory advocacy within the Africa cluster. Shaimaa holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
