Shruti Siva Kumar

Shruti Siva Kumar, PhD, is a Principal Data Scientist at Alcon, specializing in computer vision, AI/ML, and generative AI. Previously, they served as a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, focusing on medical image computing and artificial intelligence for cardiovascular diseases. Shruti has mentored students in cancer research at the University of Florida and held various research roles at esteemed institutions, including the University of Florida College of Medicine, where they worked on identifying early markers of radiation-induced cardiac and pulmonary toxicity in breast cancer patients. They hold a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida, along with a Master's degree in the same field.
