Thao Yeh

Thao Yeh is a Medical Director for Ocular Health at Alcon, with experience in medical strategy and publications since July 2019, following a role as Associate Medical Director in the same department. Prior to Alcon, Thao served as a Principal Clinical Research Scientist at Johnson & Johnson Vision, focusing on FDA clearance of class III medical devices. Thao's extensive academic background includes over a decade as a Clinical Research Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in dry eye and ocular surface disease, lipidomics, and ocular immunology, while also collaborating with machine and deep-learning teams. Thao’s clinical experience includes managerial and associate optometrist roles in private practice. Thao holds a PhD in Vision Science, an MPH in Epidemiology, an OD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
