Tom Watts has over two decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing within the medical and electronics industries. Currently serving in Sustaining Engineering at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. since November 2010, Tom focuses on updating compliance documents and verifying adherence to EU standards. Previous roles include Manufacturing Engineer positions at Advanced Sterilization Products, Advanced Medical Optics, and IntraLase, where responsibilities encompassed the design and validation of electronic assemblies, process validation, and supplier development. Earlier career experiences also include electronic component sales and procurement roles. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University.
