Trina Patel

Trina Patel serves as the Director of Statistics for the Surgical Intraocular Device Franchise at Alcon since April 2022, following a notable tenure at Edwards Lifesciences where roles included Principal Biostatistician and Franchise Lead Statistician. Trina's career began as a Graduate Research Associate at UCLA's Center for Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology and included positions in the UCLA Center for Health Services and Infosphere Clinical Research, Inc. Trina's academic background features a Doctorate in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics and a Master of Science in Biostatistics, both from UCLA, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego.
