Wei Wei is a Principal Engineer at Alcon since April 2021, with prior experience as a Senior Engineer II and Senior Engineer in R&D. Wei's expertise in optical engineering was further developed at LighTopTech Corp. as an Optical Engineer focused on 3D image data reconstruction, OCT-based metrology, and parallel-accelerated image processing. Academic contributions include significant research at the University of Washington, where Wei worked on advanced optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems, angiography, and photoacoustic flow cytometry, culminating in a Ph.D. in Optical Imaging and 3D Image Computing in 2019.
