Abigail Bell

Abigail Bell has extensive experience in public service and organizational management, currently serving as Head of Member Services at ALDC since November 2018, where previous roles included Business Development Manager and Volunteer Officer. Prior experience includes over fifteen years at Hull City Council as a Councillor for both Avenue and Pickering Wards, and Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group. Abigail's freelance work as a facilitator and trainer spanned from 2010 to 2018, with previous roles including Liberal Democrat Lead for the City Regions Board at the Local Government Association and Development Officer for the Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors. Earlier career positions were held at Comet and North Bank Forum. Abigail holds an MA in Public Sector Modernisation from The University of Huddersfield and a BA in English and History from the University of Hull.
