Alex Jacob is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in digital product development and management. Currently serving as Chapter Lead & Senior IT Manager at ALDI DX since November 2022, Alex leads an in-house User Experience and Digital Design team focused on enhancing customer experiences. Previously, Alex held the role of Chapter Lead & IT Manager at ALDI Digital Services GmbH, overseeing various digital areas including UX/UI, eCommerce, and analytics. Alex's earlier roles include Project Manager and IT-Analyst at ALDI International Services GmbH & Co. oHG and ALDI Einkauf GmbH & Co. oHG, respectively, as well as Software and Product Engineer at Telaos GmbH & Co. KG. Alex founded livn - local individual video news GmbH, serving as CEO from 2006 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Print and Media Technologies from Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
