Peter Rieger

Peter Rieger currently serves as the Managing Director at ALDI Italia, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this role, Peter worked at HOFER Österreich from October 2017 to April 2025 in various executive capacities, including Managing Director Buying and Geschäftsführer of Global Business Coordination Assortment. Earlier experiences include a tenure as Geschäftsführer at ALDI SÜD in 2017 and multiple leadership roles at Hofer KG from 2011 to 2016. Peter's educational background includes a Magister in Unternehmensführung from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and further studies at Luiss Guido Carli University, University of Tsukuba, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
